With only 4 Nutritional Supplements (Spirulina, Glucosamine, Neem & Aloe Vera) and 1 variant each of Green Tea and Stevia, Gaia was launched as a retail brand in the National Capital Region.


Venturing into health foods, Gaia launched variants of Muesli and Granola Bar. Gaia expanded its network to Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.


GAIA was launched in major retail chains like Big Bazaar and Wal-Mart. It expanded the network to 5 more states – Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh. Gaia also added healthy Cookies in its product line.


GAIA Extra Light Olive Oil was launched, along with new variants of our Crunchy Muesli. By the end of 2012, the network covered almost all the states in India and also started business in International markets like Nepal and Bhutan.


GAIA achieved Pan India presence and products were available across all major key chain stores – Spencer’s, Nature’s Basket, Max Hypermarkets, Metro Cash & Carry, etc.


We added more variants of Cookies and Green Tea. We also launched Extra Virgin Olive Oil.


GAIA was honoured with the ‘Admired Brands of India’ award and its Director, Dolly Kumar received the ‘Admired Leader of India’ award by VWP World Brands.


Not having altered the packaging since inception, Gaia felt it was time to modernise the packs in terms of look and feel and ensure that they compare favourably to the best in class, internationally. The old packaging of all products was replaced by a new, fresh and enticing packaging. Besides, Gaia launched a new variant of Muesli – Amaranth and many more products.


It was in late July that Gaia launched its new specialised line under the banner GAIA ORGANIC, launching 6 organic spices – turmeric granules, whole green cardamom, whole black cardamom, whole black peppercorn, whole clove and cinnamon sticks. Gaia also did on-ground collaboration with brands like Decathlon for marathons for Sports Utsav in Delhi NCR.


We ventured into e-commerce platforms like Amazon, FlipKart, Paytm Mall and 1mg. We also launched two new variants of Oats – Original and Multigrain. Furthermore, we officially launched and expanded our presence internationally to countries like Cambodia and Myanmar.


2019 has been an incredible year for us. We launched many new products like Whey Protein, Everyday Protein, Almond & Raisin Granola Bar, Energy Bar and Fruit & Nut Granola Bar under GAIA SPORT. We introduced 2 new variants of cookies i.e., Dark Choco Chip Cookies and Coconut Cookies under GAIA and GAIA LITE respectively. We also launched three new variants of luxurious infusions – Moringa, Hibiscus and Rose.

Furthermore, we revamped the packaging of our range of nutritional supplements and created a new specialized line GAIA PLUS dedicated for these supplements. We added 3 new nutritional supplements – Curcumin, Multivitamin and Calcium & Vitamin D3 into our portfolio.


Today, Gaia is one of the leading health and wellness brands in India with our presence in more than 22,000 retail outlets and over 500 Modern Trade outlets. Gaia has 75+ products and 4 specialised lines under GAIA PLUS, GAIA LITE, GAIA SPORT and GAIA ORGANIC. GAIA PLUS has nutritional supplements intended to provide nutrients that are usually not consumed in sufficient quantities in our everyday meals. GAIA LITE caters to the need of the diabetics and weight-conscious. GAIA SPORT is for those who lead an active lifestyle and requires fitness products to keep up their energy levels. While GAIA Organic has a range of organic spices and is for those who wish to adopt nature's purest solutions to lead a healthier lifestyle and live their natural best.
